Klovn â€" The Movie director Mikkel Norgaard delivers a comedy that
revolves around the character of a man who epitomizes masculinity but
finds himself in a feminine environment. Movie reviews depict the film
as a piece that embraces the Danish way of life including contemporary
cinema. The movie is an adaptation of a TV comedy featuring a modest
Frank and his ever eccentric buddy Casper. Available on DVD, two
different characters come out clearly in the movie.
The diversity of both characters in movie reviews is seen in the fact
that Frank wants to use a trip to show his fatherly side to his
girlfriend while Casper sees it as a perfect opportunity for a sex
adventure. Mia, Frank’s girlfriend is pregnant and he is embarrassed
that he has to hear it from others. Klovn The Movie takes a funny turn
since Mia claims she hadn’t found the ideal time to inform Frank. In
this new dvd release anyway Mia’s hesitance is informed by her doubts
of Frank’s daddy abilities, hence the silence.
From movie reviews, the focal point in the movie is in Frank’s
predicament since as mature as he wants to appear, Casper always has a
sexual escapade in mind. This is with different women, never mind that
he is married to Iben as depicted in Klovn The Movie. Frank is in
further dilemma since the men he is friends with, have a teenage like
obsession with sex. The funny thing about these men, according to movie
reviews is that they are part of book club for men only who discuss a
book “pearl necklaces†which is in no way related to what they
should be occupied with. Frank finds himself with strange mannerisms
around Bo, Mia’s 12-year old boy.
From the happenings in Klovn- The Movie, all the pressure to conform
and prove his worth brings out a cornered Frank who can have an
emotional outburst when pushed. Movie reviews portray a man that can
make decisions with no ill motives. With the ever risking Casper around
him, Frank finds himself having to make these decisions which will
mostly end as a catastrophe but which in the process takes viewers on a
hilarious adventure. These mishaps in Klovn â€" The movie don’t
portray Frank in favorable light before Mia yet he wants to prove
himself to her.
As a way of confirming his dad credentials, Frank arranges to go
camping with Bo for the weekend. The ever present Casper on the other
part seems to identify a pleasure trip when he sees one. For movie
reviews, this is the perfect ingredient for trouble. A series of events
inevitably lead to further trouble for Frank who seems to be amused by
the outrageousness of every episode. The force that drives Frank is his
desire to prove his mettle to Bo yet the clown in him is very much alive
thought Klovn â€" The Movie. His human side also comes out as he
manages to connect and make an impression on the boy. In this new movie
releases on dvd, the last laugh is on Casper who gets it rough from his
wife Hjejle when they return home.
